The Celebration
Emily and Hector’s reception at Rancho Guadalupe was a breathtaking display of romance and elegance. The venue was transformed into an enchanting space, illuminated by the soft glow of floating candlelight. The tablescapes featured tall glass cylinders with flickering candles, casting a warm, intimate ambiance over the evening’s celebration. Deep red, burgundy, ivory, and soft mauve florals—composed of lush roses, delicate hydrangeas, cascading amaranthus, and fresh greenery—wove through the design, creating a striking yet timeless aesthetic. The combination of rich floral hues and dreamy candlelight set the perfect tone for a night filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
The Cake
Emily and Hector’s wedding cake was a true masterpiece and one of my favorites from 2024—a stunning six-tier creation wrapped in smooth fondant and adorned with intricate vintage Lambeth piping. Edible pearls appeared along the elegant royal icing patterns along each tier, adding a sense of timeless romance, while fresh strawberries, lightly dusted with powdered sugar, introduced a delicate, whimsical charm. When envisioning her dream wedding cake, Emily always described it as “dreamy, classic, and whimsical,” and this design brought that vision to life in the most enchanting way.
Emily and Hector’s wedding cake was as delightful on the inside as it was breathtaking on the outside. their tiered cake featured the fragrant notes of my Earl Grey cake paired with the rich, caramel-like notes in the Brown Sugar Swiss Meringue Buttercream—a sophisticated combination that perfectly complemented their dreamy, classic, and whimsical vision. Every bite was a blend of warmth and elegance, making their towering masterpiece as memorable in flavor as it was in design.
